SEO for restyling shopsGet found on Google Maps without paying for every click

Ads fill this month. SEO brings next year's customers for free. We measure it in booked jobs.

  • Google Business Profile
  • Service pages that rank
  • Reviews after every job
  • Measured in bookings
Client work: Black Label Tint

Good SEO scores. No phone calls.

One owner we spoke to had paid two different SEO agencies. Both sent glowing reports. Neither sent customers. Another lost their website the day they stopped paying.

  • “I did everything and then it just didn't work out.”

Questions owners ask us

How long does SEO take for a tint or detailing shop?

Usually several months to see steady results, depending on your area and competition. That's why we run paid ads alongside it.

Do you do Google Business Profile optimization?

Yes, and for most shops it's the most important part of local SEO. We set up your categories, list every service you sell, keep photos fresh and get reviews coming in automatically after each job.

Can I do SEO without paid ads?

You can, but the leads come slowly. Motorgrowth is paid-marketing-first, with SEO added to lower your lead cost over time.

How do you measure SEO?

By calls, form leads and booked jobs from Google search and Maps. Ranking reports are nice to look at, but they don't pay your installers. One owner we spoke to had two SEO agencies with great scores and no leads.

Do I keep my website if I leave?

You do. The ad accounts, every lead and your landing page are set up in your business name from day one. If you ever stop working with us, all of it stays with you, so you never start from scratch.

Do you write the content?

Yes. We write your service pages in the words your customers actually use, and we check every price and detail with you before anything goes live.

SEO: the details

Everything else owners ask before they sign up.

What is SEO for a detailing or tint shop?

SEO for a restyling shop means ranking in Google search and Google Maps when people nearby look for the services you sell, like window tint, PPF, ceramic coating or detailing. Done well, it produces leads you don't pay for per click. It takes months, so it works best alongside paid ads.

Search engine optimization covers your Google Business Profile, your website's service pages, reviews and the sites that link to you. For a local shop, the Maps results usually matter more than anything else.

Why does Motorgrowth put paid ads before SEO?

Because SEO takes months and paid ads book jobs in the first weeks. An owner who needs consistent work now shouldn't wait half a year for rankings. We start with ads, then add SEO so the share of free leads grows over time.

One owner on our calls had used two different SEO agencies. Both reported good SEO scores. Neither produced leads. SEO that isn't measured by booked jobs is easy to sell and hard to prove.

What SEO work do you do for restyling shops?

We set up and improve your Google Business Profile, build a page for each service you sell, fix the technical basics, and grow reviews through the CRM's automatic review requests. Everything is tracked to calls and bookings.

  • Google Business Profile: categories, services, photos and posts for each service you offer.
  • Service pages for tint, PPF, ceramic coating and detailing, written for the way your customers search.
  • Area pages only where you genuinely serve the area and have something real to say about it.
  • Review requests sent automatically after each job.
  • Fast, mobile-friendly pages, so the clicks you earn turn into calls.

SEO for each service

Tint shops compete on "window tint near me" and ceramic tint searches. PPF shops target "clear bra" and "paint protection film" plus vehicle searches. Ceramic coating shops target cost and comparison searches. Detailers compete on "mobile detailing" and "car detailing near me". See window tint, PPF, ceramic coating and detailing.

SEO or paid ads for a detailing business?

Paid ads when you need jobs this month, SEO for cheaper leads later. Most shops need both: ads to keep the calendar full now, and SEO so the share of free leads grows. A website that ranks but doesn't convert is wasted either way.

How should a tint or detail shop set up its Google Business Profile?

Pick the primary category that matches the job you most want, add the secondary categories that fit your other services, list every service with a description, and keep photos and reviews coming. Google allows one primary category and up to nine additional ones, and a business description of up to 750 characters.

  • Primary category: the service you want more of, for example Window tinting service or Car detailing service.
  • Secondary categories: only ones that match real services you offer. Google's list doesn't have an exact match for every restyling service, so PPF and ceramic coating are usually added as services under a broader category.
  • Services list: every job you sell, each with a short description and a starting price where you're comfortable showing it.
  • Description: up to 750 characters, written for customers, naming your services and the areas you serve.
  • Photos: real work, added regularly, never stock.
  • Reviews: requested automatically after every job, and answered.
  • Service area: for mobile businesses, the cities and ZIP codes you actually travel to.

Does page speed matter for a detailing website?

Yes. Google measures real visitors' experience through Core Web Vitals. A page is rated good when its largest element loads within 2.5 seconds, it responds to taps within 200 milliseconds, and its layout shift score stays under 0.1. Slow, jumpy pages lose both rankings and calls.

Core Web VitalGoodWhat usually breaks it on shop sites
Largest Contentful Paint (LCP)2.5 seconds or lessHuge uncompressed hero photos and slider plugins
Interaction to Next Paint (INP)200 milliseconds or lessHeavy page builders and chat widgets
Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS)0.1 or lessReview widgets and embeds that load without reserved space

We build pages to pass all three on mobile, where most of your customers find you. See websites and landing pages.
