FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything owners ask us before they sign: price, contracts, ownership, filming, leads and the guarantee. If a business partner or spouse shares the decision, this is the page to send them.
Fit and cost
What kind of business do you take on?
Window tint, ceramic coating, PPF and detailing businesses in the US. Shop-based or mobile is fine. You'll need to be doing at least $5,000 a month, and we work with shops all the way up to $150,000 a month and beyond. We don't take on any other industries, so everything we've learned comes from shops like yours.
How much does it cost?
We go through pricing on the call, and we do it early, so you're not sitting through an hour of sales talk to find out. On top of our fee, you'll need $30 to $50 a day for ads. That money goes straight to Google or Meta on your own card, not through us.
Is there a contract?
You can go monthly or take a three-month option. The three-month option works out cheaper overall, and it gives the ads enough time to learn and show you what they can really do. We'll explain both on the call so you can pick.
I'm under $5,000 a month. Can you help?
Not yet, and we'd rather tell you that than take your money. Below $5,000 a month, the fee and ad spend usually eat most of the extra profit. Keep building through referrals and your own posts, and come back when you're there. We'll be glad to talk.
Money's tight. How do I know it'll pay for itself?
Start with your average job. At $40 a day in ads, about $1,200 a month, a $400 tint job covers the spend in three bookings and a $2,000 PPF install covers it in one. Everything after that is extra revenue. Our clients typically see a return of 5 to 10 times, and our guarantee is Double Your Revenue in 90 Days.
Will there actually be profit after your fee and the ad spend?
That's the right question to ask any agency. We track what each booked job costs you from the first week, so you can see the profit for yourself. Most of our clients see a return of 5 to 10 times. If an agency can't show you cost per booking, be careful. Our guide on hiring an agency or running your own ads walks through the math.
How it works
Do you run Google or Facebook ads?
Both. Google catches people searching for tint, PPF, coating or a detail right now. Facebook and Instagram reach car owners nearby before they start looking. We also do SEO and websites, but paid ads come first because they put cars in your bays in the first few weeks.
Do I have to film videos?
No. Your ads run on footage that's already been tested and booked jobs for other restyling shops. If you've got good photos of your own work we'll put them on your landing page, but you never have to set up a camera.
Who deals with the leads?
We do. Every lead gets an instant text, then a call from our team. We follow up with the ones who go quiet and book the appointment straight into your calendar. You find out about the job when it's booked, not when someone sends a "how much?" message at 11pm.
How fast can we go live?
In as little as 7 days. We set up the ad accounts in your name, build the landing page and CRM, and get the ads approved. Most shops start seeing inquiries in the first week.
Will the leads just be price shoppers?
The whole system is built to stop that. Every ad sends people to a page that shows your prices and asks about the car and timing before they can contact you. The people looking for the cheapest deal in town usually leave right there. The ones who book have already seen your price.
Can I keep my own booking system?
Tell us what you use on the call, whether that's TintWiz, Square, Urable, Google Calendar or a notebook, and we'll work out how it fits with our CRM. We'd rather fit around how your shop runs than make you change everything.
What do you need from me to get started?
Your prices and packages, a handful of photos of your work, and permission to set up ad accounts in your business name. That's it. No filming, no content calendar, no weekly homework.
Trust and ownership
Will you work with other shops near me?
No. We take one shop per area, with no exceptions. We'll never run ads for the shop down the road and have you bidding against each other. That's also why we check your area on the first call.
If I leave, who owns the ad account, the leads and the website?
You do. Everything is set up in your business name from day one: the ad accounts, every lead in the CRM and your landing page. If you ever stop working with us, it all stays with you. We've heard too many stories of owners losing their website when they stopped paying an agency.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes: Double Your Revenue in 90 Days. Doubling in about three months is the goal owners bring up most on our calls, so that's what we stand behind. We go through exactly how it works for your shop on the call. See our guarantee.
Can I talk to some of your clients?
Ask on the call. In the meantime you can read our reviews and case studies. They cover shops that started at $5,000, $10,000 and $50,000 a month, not just our biggest win.
I've been burned by an agency before. Why would this be different?
A lot of the owners we talk to have been there. What's different with us: you own the ad account, the leads and the page. We take one shop per area. We handle the calling and booking, not just the ads. And we only work with tint, PPF, coating and detailing shops. Before you hire anyone, including us, read our questions to ask a marketing agency.
Is Motorgrowth legit?
Alphie Joy started Motorgrowth in 2022. Today we work with 80+ active shops, have generated over $15 million in revenue for clients, manage over $300,000 a month in ad spend and have had zero disputes in four years. Clients stay with us for 12 months on average. Read more about us and see our reviews.
My partner or spouse needs to agree. What should I send them?
Bring them on the call if you can. It saves a second conversation and they can ask their own questions. If they can't make it, send them this page, how it works and our guarantee.
