Orange McLaren with doors up in JLE Customs' shop

Facebook & Instagram adsPut your best work in front of every car owner in town

Ads that reach car owners near you, with nothing for you to film and every lead booked by our team.

  • No filming needed
  • Lead campaigns, not boosts
  • Price shown up front
  • We book every lead
Client work: JLE Customs

Boosted posts get likes. Not bookings.

Owners tell us their Facebook ads brought a flood of "how much?" messages from people who disappeared at the first number. That's what happens when an ad asks people to message for a price.

  • “A lot of people are looking for discounts and I don't give discounts.”

Mobile tinter doing $8,000 a month

  • “I would have liked to have more control over it.”

Shop owner, on an agency's automated texts

  • “People, at least now, would rather go cheap than go, you know, quality.”

Steady volume, even in slow months

We run proper lead campaigns, using footage that has already booked jobs for other shops, so you never pick up a camera. Every ad sends people to your page, where they see the price before they reach you.

Then the CRM replies in seconds and our team calls. You can see every message that goes out, so nothing is sent to your customers without you knowing.

  • 9:16 video for Reels and Stories
  • Retargeting past customers for upgrades
  • Area targeting down to ZIP code

Questions owners ask us

Do Facebook ads work for detailing?

Yes, when they're run as lead campaigns that send people to a page with your prices and a short form. Boosted posts get likes and "how much?" messages. Lead campaigns get bookings.

What's the minimum daily budget for Facebook ads?

Plan on $30 to $50 a day for a restyling shop, paid straight to Meta. Below that, the ads don't get enough data to find your buyers. Once we know your cost per booking, you can scale up from there.

Do I need to film videos for Facebook ads?

No. Your ads run on footage that's already been tested and booked jobs for other restyling shops. Send us a few photos of your own work for the landing page, and that's it.

Do Facebook ads work for ceramic coating and PPF?

Yes. They are one of the best ways to reach owners of newer cars in your area before they start comparing shops.

Will Instagram ads work for a mobile detailer?

Yes. We limit the ads to the ZIP codes you actually travel to, and your landing page shows your service area up front. You won't pay for leads two towns over.

Who replies to the Facebook leads?

We do. Every lead gets an instant text, then a call from our team. We follow up with anyone who goes quiet and book the job straight into your calendar, so you're not answering messages between cars.

How fast can Facebook ads go live?

In as little as 7 days. We set up the ad accounts in your name, build the landing page and CRM, and get the ads approved. Most shops see their first inquiries that week.

Facebook & Instagram ads: the details

Everything else owners ask before they sign up.

Do Facebook ads work for auto detailing and tint shops?

Yes, when they are aimed at the right owners and sent to a page that qualifies them. Facebook and Instagram ads reach car owners in your area before they search, which makes them the best channel for steady volume. Boosted posts are not the same thing and rarely book jobs.

Ads on Meta's platforms, Facebook and Instagram, are where most restyling customers first see before-and-after results. For a shop, that is the moment to catch them.

Plenty of owners have tried boosting a post. It gets likes, a few messages asking "how much?", and very few bookings. A proper lead campaign targets owners by area and interest, uses footage that has already booked jobs for other shops, and sends people to a page with your prices and a short form.

Do I have to film my own ads?

No. Ads run on stock footage already tested across the industry, so you don't need to film anything or hire anyone to film you. If you have strong work photos, we use them on your landing page.

One solo operator told us there was nobody to film them. Most shop owners are installing all day and don't have time to make content. Using footage that has already worked for other tint, PPF, coating and detail shops means your ads can go live in as little as 7 days.

Why do Facebook ads bring price shoppers, and how do you stop it?

Facebook makes it easy to send a message, so cheap ads with no price attract people who only want a number. We fix it by showing prices on the landing page, asking about the vehicle and timeframe, and having our team confirm the quote before booking.

  • Ads talk about results and protection, not discounts.
  • No "message us for a price" ads. The price is on the page.
  • Short forms that ask the questions an installer would ask.
  • Instant text reply, then a call from our team.

The whole system is built to filter out price shoppers. Read why your leads are price shoppers.

Facebook ads for each kind of restyling shop

Window tint. Heat and privacy messaging in spring and summer, ceramic film upgrades and new car owners year round. See window tint marketing.

Ceramic coating. Gloss and protection results aimed at owners of newer cars. See ceramic coating marketing.

PPF. New car owners and enthusiasts, qualified by vehicle and coverage. See PPF marketing.

Detailing. Interior resets, maintenance plans and mobile convenience. See auto detailing marketing.

What is the minimum daily budget for Facebook ads?

For a restyling shop, plan on $30 to $50 a day, paid directly to Meta. Less than that and the ads don't gather enough data to find your buyers. Once cost per booking is known, you can scale up toward a jobs target.

Your ad spend is billed by Meta to your own card in an ad account you own. See how much to spend on ads.

Facebook ads or Google Ads?

Facebook and Instagram ads build demand and volume. Google Ads catch people already searching. Most of our shops run both. If you can only start with one, we pick based on your service, area and the jobs you want more of.

Who owns the ad account and the leads?

You do. The client owns the ad account, the leads and the page if they leave.

Another owner told us an agency's automated texts went out to their customers and they wished they'd had more control. You can see every message the CRM sends and every lead in your account.

Which Facebook and Instagram ad formats work for restyling shops?

Short vertical video for Reels and Stories, square or 4:5 video and images for the feed, and lead campaigns that send people to your landing page. We use Meta's Instant Forms only when a page isn't ready, because a form inside Facebook can't show your prices and filters less.

How do Facebook ads target car owners near my shop?

By location first: a radius around your shop, or the ZIP codes a mobile business actually travels to. Then Meta's delivery system finds the people in that area most likely to fill in your form. Restyling isn't a restricted ad category, so you can also narrow by age where it helps.

  • Shops: a radius around the address, adjusted for traffic and how far your customers will drive.
  • Mobile businesses: a list of ZIP codes inside your service area, so you never pay for a lead you can't reach.
  • Multi-location shops: one campaign per location, so budgets and results stay separate.
  • Past customers and website visitors: retargeted with upgrades like ceramic coating after tint, or PPF on a new car.

What happens in the first 30 days of Facebook ads?

Week one is setup and launch. Weeks two and three are Meta's learning phase, which Meta says needs about 50 results per ad set in a week to stabilize. By week four we cut what isn't booking and move budget to what is.

DaysWhat happens
1 to 7Ad account set up in your name, landing page and CRM built, ads approved and live
8 to 21Learning phase: Meta tests who responds; we watch cost per lead and lead quality daily
22 to 30Underperforming ads paused, winning ads given more budget, first cost per booking reported

At $30 a day an ad set may not reach 50 results a week, so we keep the number of ad sets small and let each one gather data. Spreading a small budget across ten ads is one of the most common reasons owners tell us their own Facebook ads "didn't work".
